Ms. Caely Dunlop holds a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology and Special Education and is currently completing her Doctorate in School and Applied Child Psychology from Western University in London, Ontario. Ms. Dunlop provides assessment and intervention services for children and adolescents at West Niagara Psychology Centre under the clinical supervision of Registered Psychologists Dr. Michelle Lohnes and Ms. Veronique Baril.
In her clinical work, Ms. Dunlop provides evidence-based assessment and intervention for a range of presenting difficulties, including emotional and behavioural dysregulation, attention and executive functioning challenges, mood and anxiety disorders, and social/interpersonal difficulties. She utilizes a strengths-based, client-centred approach in her therapeutic work with children, adolescents and their caregivers, which integrates components of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and family systems models.
NEW: Given the COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to providing in person appointments, we are providing psychology services online using a secure internet-based video program as well as by phone. We currently have varying waitlists as we have expanded our hours to accommodate the increased demand in Mental Health Services.
