Dr. Courtney Moody

Dr. Courtney Moody holds a Doctor of Education degree in School and Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto's Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). She recently submitted her registration application to the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario and is awaiting confirmation of acceptance. She will be completing her year of supervised practice at this centre under Dr. Michelle Lohnes' supervision and with a local school board under the guidance of a registered psychologist.
Dr. Moody possesses extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments with children, adolescents, and young adults. Her assessment expertise encompasses learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, giftedness, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, externalizing behaviours, and various anxiety and mood disorders. Additionally, she has experience providing therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents addressing a range of concerns, including anxiety, mood disorders, social-emotional-behavioral difficulties, executive functioning challenges (e.g., ADHD), and supporting individuals with learning disabilities to develop self-advocacy skills and improved self-esteem. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, incorporating evidence-based methodologies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions to create personalized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and circumstances.
