Erin Vander Hoeven

Ms. Erin Vander Hoeven holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Guelph, where she is currently completing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. She is being supervised by Dr. Effie Avgoustis, Veronique Baril, and Dr. Michelle Lohnes.
Erin has experience providing therapy and conducting psychological assessments with children and adolescents, as well as offering parenting support. She has worked with a range of presenting concerns, including emotion dysregulation, executive functioning and learning difficulties, developmental trauma, and internalizing difficulties such as anxiety and
depression.
Erin provides an integrative, client-centred approach. She employsvarious therapeutic modalities in her work, including CBT, Play Therapy, Relational Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).
