Ms. Woloshyn is a caring professional who works passionately to support adults, children, and youth navigate challenging life events. She holds a client-centered, strengths-based and holistic approach to wellness that acknowledges the importance of individuals’ cognitive, emotional, social, cultural, familial, physical, and spiritual experiences.
Ms. Woloshyn holds a MA in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. She is a Registered Psychotherapist and registered SafeTALKprovider. She presently works under the supervision of Dr. Michelle Lohnes.
Ms. Woloshyn has experience in the public and private sector, offering individual and group therapy. She has worked with individuals who experience concerns related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, learning challenges, social skills, stress and anger management, and emotional regulation. She has experience working with survivors of domestic violence and has facilitated partner aggression response training. She is trained in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Narrative Therapy.
